Overview: Murata strays from the SPHERES streak with synchrotone, a mild release featuring a scattering a sketchwork from numerous projects.

Details: synchrotone retains a presentation similar to that of SPHERES releases, but this book finally includes some non-Last Exile sketchwork. Entirely black and white on off-white paper, a large portion of this release features full-page sketches with a number of smaller collages. robot, PSE Solid Collection, Blue Submarine No. 6 drawings, and random product doodles are scattered about. The cover is a pleasantly dark gray-teal color with a smooth finish. Overall, synchrotone is a pretty average doujinshi, but a welcome change from the previous SPHERES release streak.
