It turns out that Range Murata has sneakily released the latest addition to his SPHERES line of doujinshi, SPHERES+ [PLUS] at his Comiket 66 appearance. Several Yahoo! Japan auctions have already popped up, and thanks to Jumbo, you can now read some concrete information about the book on Murata's original doujinshi page. Samples should hopefully be available within the month or so when our own copies arrive.
In addition to SPHERES+, copies of a small Silvana-themed doujinshi were available. This doujinshi contains sketches of the Silvana mechanics, a history of old Japanese battleships, and a single sketch of the Silvana crew. Hopefully more information for this release will become available.
TokyoCentral is now stocking Range Murata's SPHERES+ [PLUS] for $29.95 and Jun Tsukasa's TB2004 for $29.95. |

Kacchu Musume's official site has been updated with a new front image by Tsukasa and with information on the circle's releases for this months's Summer Comiket. The new event page displays the cover of the upcoming doujinshi Tsukasa Bullet 2004 [sample images here], as well as images of two posters by Tsukasa Jun that will be sold at the show. Also set for release at the show and visible on the page is Kabushikigaisha Rebasashi [Corporation Chopped Liver], a Kacchu Musume anthology volume that includes a front cover by Tsukasa [also seen in his 2004 calendar.]
The kindly folks over at TokyoCentral have done some investigating concering HobbyLink's two listings for Murata's PSE Solid Collection. [Please refer to 8/4 and 8/7 news entries.] You can read the [confusing] details here. Basically, if you are interested in obtaining the figures, just wait for TC to stock them; you're guaranteed a complete set as opposed to buying a box of 10 random figures from other retailers.

It turns out HobbyLink Japan has two separate listings for Murata's PSE Solid Collection... The original linked item, distributed by Alpha, and this listing, distributed by K&M [Kaiyodo & Movic.] No clue what the difference is, other than the price and number of pieces included [8 vs. 10.] [Thanks to MrDisco and littleharlock for the information.] |
